Ladera Ranch's Oak Knoll Village is situated at the northern most area of the region. Oak Knoll was the first village to be developed in the master-planned community of Ladera Ranch. There are 10 unique neighborhoods within Oak Knoll Village: Amberly Lane, Fairfield, Maplewood, Prescott, Sarasota, Shady Lane, Sycamore Grove, Trails, Whispering Creek, and Wyeth.

The largest homes in the area are found in both Wyeth and Amberly Lane. In fact, the larger homes are some of the largest in Ladera Ranch outside of the gated community of Covenant Hills. This area's amenities include the Oak Knoll clubhouse with large lap pool, kiddie pool and hot tub (28192 O'Neill Drive) and the 'Victory Gardens' park. Both the part and the clubhouse are available to residents to rent out for parties and events.
